All you’ll need to get started with Aerodrums is a compatible PC or Mac. Simply download the software, follow the on-screen set up and you’ll be drumming in minutes.

Aerodrums’ drum response technology is what makes it the perfect choice for drummers who crave an authentic playing experience.

We designed Aerodrums 1 to have low latency and high accuracy. The time between when you hit a drum and hear the sound is minimal, to the point that you can’t perceive it. This creates a natural and immersive drumming experience that is incredibly satisfying to play. With its advanced 3D tracking system, Aerodrums 1 captures every nuance of your playing, from the speed and intensity of your hits to the position of your drumsticks and feet. This level of precision and realism is unmatched by other drumming systems and means you can perform rimshots, ghost notes, flams and rolls with up to 50 velocity layers for each drum (with separate velocity layers for the left and right hands).

MIDI compatible

Aerodrums’ MIDI compatibility opens up a world of possibilities for drummers and music producers alike. With MIDI output, you can use Aerodrums 1 to record performances directly into DAWs such as Logic Pro and Ableton Live, or trigger third-party drum software like Superior Drummer 3 and Addictive Drums 2.

This makes Aerodrums 1 not just a powerful standalone drumming solution, but also a versatile tool for recording (exportable as WAV files and as separate pieces), live performance, and music production.

Firmly in the spotlight

Aerodrums 1 comes with a lamp that shines onto the reflective material on the sticks and foot markers. The lamp is equipped with a special lens and fits neatly onto the camera.

The magic of motion-capture technology

The high-speed camera plugs into an available USB port and captures the movement of the reflections made by the lamp from your sticks and foot markers into the Aerodrums software.

When you hit a drum, Aerodrums 1 uses advanced algorithms to choose an audio sample and playback volume that accurately reflects your musical intent, creating a highly responsive and expressive drumming experience.
