Hello. First off, I've been having a fantastic time with my AD2! Thanks for creating such an amazing product. I love how easy it is to turn on and start playing immediately, and it's been a great form of silent exercise. I've been having an issue accessing the Aerodrums 2 box from my Mac Mini M2 Pro running Sequoia, that other Mac users might also be experiencing. Many times when trying to access the AD2 box, it fails, with the spinning connection status at the bottom of the screen. If I try to connect from my iPhone or iPad, it connects immediately. If I log out of the Mac, not reboot, just log out, and log back in, the app connects immediately at least for a while. I am making sure that I only have one device trying to connect at a time. After some research I've found that Sequoia changed the way apps request network access, and any app that wants network access should ask the user to allow it when it first launches. The Aerodrums 2 app (v6) does not ask for that permission when launched the first time. And it doesn't show up in the System Settings / Privacy and Security / Local Network section with a toggle to allow/not allow.
I'm a Mac consultant by trade, but not a programmer. From what I've read, there are some settings when creating the Mac app that need to be turned on. Attached is a screenshot of the section that caught my eye, and the link to the relevant thread is found below. This all might just be an issue with my machine, but I thought I'd go ahead and post in case anyone else is seeing this issue.
