Post by flow » Sat Jan 25, 2020 2:35 pm

hey guys! i got aerodrums for 4 month and all runnig fine. then i installed audacity an a freeware maleware software and the struggle begun.
when i open aerodrums, everytime a window flashes and said, " some software uses the soundcard exclusively" and i dont have any sound output via aerodrums.
i unenabled it in the sound menu, without effect.

im not really good in windows, maybe someone can help me out!

ps.: i uninstalled every software and running win 10 new and stock.

thank you very much for your support! :P
cheers,
flo from germany

If you have Aerodrums set to use the 'Exclusive WASAPI' device on the Aerodrums Latency screen then Aerodrums will take exclusive control of sound output on your computer. This is the recommended option because it gives the lowest audio latency and improves the feel of drumming. So you should definitely tick the checkbox to 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'. Above that there is a setting for 'Default Format'. You should change that to any available 44100 Hz mode instead of a 48000 Hz mode. Please try that and let us know if it's still not working.
