Triggering more hi-hat sounds over MIDI

Post by eriklharper » Tue Oct 01, 2019 8:03 pm

I'm trialing EZDrummer and so far I love the sounds, but I noticed that similar to triggering MIDI into Garageband, Aerodrums only sends open and closed hi-hat sounds, but nothing in between or beyond and I'm just wondering is that a limitation with Aerodrums or EZDrummer or both and is there a way to trigger more subtle hi-hat openness sounds with this kind of combo?

Hi, I think it's a limitation of EZDrummer, it works fine with Addictive Drums, Steven Slate Drums and Superior Drummer. But make sure you don't have "Open or closed only" checked in your MIDI configuration.
