sensor "halluzination" in lighting panel

The lighting panel is constantly showing a foot sensor where there is none even after restarting both the device and the app and before getting any sensor in the near of it. If I then put the two foot sensors into the area there is only one that gets recognized, the other one only displays as a small light without connection and function. Obviously this is not a problem of the sensors because either one I insert first gets recognized and functions.
The sensor halluziination started all over sudden is constant and persistent. How can I get rid of it? Reset?

Hi,
First of all, make sure it's not a reflective object behind you.

Yes, it sounds like a reflective object. Could you go back to the Lighting panel and hide your drumstick/foot markers from view of the Aerodrums 2 device. Normally the panel should be completely black when you do this but I suspect you will see that it detected an object. If that's the case you will need to determine what that corresponds to in your environment. It could be a mirror or something made of metal or glass, including possibly a low window or glass door. Another possibility is that your shoes have some retroreflective material - you can check this be sitting on your drumming seat and seeing if something shows up in the Lighting panel.

I wanted to answer that there were no reflections in the room, BUT I sit on a drum chair with of course bright metal hardware. I did not move neither chair nor Aerodrums though, but anyway, the sitting sensor was gone when I started the Aerodrums today.
Thanks for your responses/advices.

Just to be sure... you might try placing the unit in another environment.
Have a good day
