Left handed pedal configuration

I am only two days into my aerodrums journey and am extremely impressed with everything so far.
I have a question relating to the position/placement of Bass drum/Hi-hat pedal placement when left-handed kit is selected.
I have found that, whilst the order of pedals from right to left (hh-bd1-bd2)is as you would expect, placement seems to still be as if it where a right handed setup i.e. hi-hat right of snare drum, bass drum 1 and 2 to the left of snare drum.
Maybe I am just so new to this that I havent figured out how to change this but so far I havent found a way.
I was very much looking forward to playing with a double bass drum setup but as you can imagine, at the moment I have to drag my right foot all the way to the left of the snare drum to reach the 2nd bass drum pedal which is quite a stretch and ends up with both knees together which feels very awkward and hopefully is just a config error or a misunderstanding on my part.
I hope this all makes sense as I know it hurts the brains of you right handed drummers to think about our weird left handed setups
