Aerodrums and Aered forums

So I've been wanting to record aerodrums using the record function. I want to be able to listen to a backing mp3 track and record just the drums only. The odd thing is, and it isn't consistent, the backing track will be heard in the recording along with the drums. But sometimes the recording will be just the drums. I have no idea why or how to control this. If I could get some insight into this, that would be great. Otherwise I'll just have to listen to the backing track using an external source instead.

I presume you are using the "Export wav..." button from the Recordings screen in Aerodrums. If so, this screen has a checkbox labelled "Incl. song". If this is ticked then the song will be included in the exported wav. If it's unticked then it will just be the drums only.
