How can you change/tune snare sound?

Default snare sound is just awful. Is there anyway I can change it as if you were to tune the snare according to the sound to your liking? I see videos on people playing aerodrums with great drum sounds. How do you do that?

Funny you should ask this now. Another Aerodrums user just released a couple of snare drums files for Aerodrums over here (one of which is free):

There is also a piccolo snare available in the default collection of sounds that you might prefer and we have plans to release some new snare sounds early next year. Unfortunately, it is not possible to "tune" the existing sounds.
Some people (including us on occasion) are triggering 3rd party sound libraries through MIDI. If you're not familiar with these you should have a look at Addictive Drums, Steven Slate Drums, Superior Drummer, BFD, etc. These are separate products that you will need to pay for but they generally have very high quality drum samples.
