Hi Mark, you do this from the Drum Samples tab in the Preferences window.
For any drum/cymbal, if you specify a path to a folder containing .wav files then it should load them.

If you tried this and it's not working as expected then it's quite possible that you have .wav files that Aered is not loading because, for example, Aered will only load files in the uncompressed Microsoft WAVE format. There are other formats such as the Broadcast WAVE format that won't load. We fixed these issues in Aerodrums recently but have not applied the same fixes to Aered yet. If you suspect this is the issue you could try re-save your .wav files in a program such as Audacity by opening the file, going to File -> Export and choosing "WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM". If that doesn't work, let me know and we can take a closer look.
