Configuration NUx Core Stereo / 4 Channel Stereo Mixer, - Aerodrums 2 - HIFI / Sennheiser IE 200 Headpho

I have now completed a series of tests and can share some details about my configuration
using a looper together with an additional stereo mixer for playback together with Sennheiser
IE 200 Headphones. The NUx Core Stereo and the LiNKFOR Audio Mixer have proven ideal for my
setup; they offer a lot of functionality for their price.
My audio chain begins with the headphone output of the smartphone’s DAC adapter and the
output of the AD2 into the Audio Mixer. I´m allowed to feed any input source into the audio mixer
without latency. Even using the BT Interface works well because there is no latency problem
because the sound is merged after "receiving" the BT signal. The mixer is powered by the same
power bank as all other components.
The output of the audio mixer is routed into the NUx using a left/right mono‑to‑stereo cable
(mono on both channels). With the looper set to stereo output, I get a clean and well‑balanced
signal later when feeding the Hi‑Fi system / Headphones. Because the grounding of the Hi‑Fi system
and the AD2 differs, I added an audio ground isolator, which eliminates all hum.
The NUx allows me to use any audio source as background music. All files stored on the NUx can
be prepared with the very fast NUx WAV converter. Connecting the NUx as an USB‑C device is
straightforward, and the batch conversion feature makes it easy to convert files to the recommended
format.
Many musicians and audio experts (not me
) have tested the NUx Core Stereo, and it consistently
appears to offer very good value for the price. It includes a clearly written user manual and can
also be powered by a power bank. Be sure to use a polarity‑inverting adapter (see the list) to
avoid issues caused by reversed polarity at the connector pin.
The Sennheiser IE 200 headphones work well and creates a detailed and crystal clear sound. My old
HD 530 had no chance to compete with them.
The NUx Core Stereo includes its own headphone output, which can be adjusted in the settings.
As usual, I have attached my current equipment list. Most components are self‑explanatory, but I’m
happy to provide more detail if needed.
