Midi and audio issues

Post by Phant0m_22 » Fri Jun 13, 2025 8:55 pm

Hello all,

I am happy with the product overall but have noticed a few bugs. I use Aerodrums with multiple platforms (phone, tablet, pc). I am only able to use Aerodrums as a MIDI kit in Garageband for Mac, when plugged directly into the laptop but it doesn't seem to work on the iPad or iPhone. The Aerodrums app does work on the phone and ipad, however. Maybe it just needs more power (RAM) to run?

Additionally, when attempting to set them up in Clone Hero, the program never registers the Aerodrums hardware. I've tried different cables, different ports, etc. but nothing. When opening Aerodrums the program on the PC, it works fine, but when I switch to Clone Hero, the Aerodrums audio stops and switches to the game. I haven't been able to isolate if my PC is underpowered or if it's a simple audio setting that is missing, or if both programs need to be open to get it to work as expected.

I primarily got Aerodrums as a learning tool, as I have limited space and want to practice without disturbing others. It works well for that purpose. But if tweaks could be made so as to make mobile recording more feasible that'd be really nice to have. Clone Hero with Aerodrums is very niche, but i have seen a couple people online do it, so it seems to be possible (they also could be faking haha). Please advise.
