Video: Me playing Aerodrums in a pub in Paris

This happened in a pub in Paris last week. It was the first time playing together in real life since the Covid lockdown. I’m not showing this for it’s musical performance, everybody has rusted in 6 month. But there are only a few of YouTube videos showing Aerodrums in a Live-performance, and I just want to show how good it works. Despite the big window and all the light around, I only had to use Aerodrums’ masking function to eliminate some lamps on the wall over my head. I hope this will give some ideas to other people. Aerodrums is just ideal for situations like this. You don’t need a car to transport your drum-kit and get it mounted in 10 minutes!

The video was done with a smartphone by someone in the pub.

Hello Wolfgang, thank you for posting the video.

That was an appropriately angry rendition of that song ;)

Sorry that the virus is closing all bars in Paris for a while again.

I hope it can get under control.

Fantastic Wolfgang!...that really does show what can be done with Aerodrums in a live bar setting..excellent work. Stay safe and hopefully this desperate situation will get better at some point for all of us...

Hi condordontsurf,
I cannot imagine that you haven't seen this before. It’s a function which got introduced to Aerodrums about 3 years ago. And this saved my life more than one time!
When you are in setup mode and the camera sees any light-source, Aerodrums gives you the option to eliminate it.
This works very well for hiding lamps or reflections behind yourself, or coming in from the side.
Just one downside, if one of the light-sources overlaps one of your elements you will not be able to play on it.

ahhhhhh yes. Thanks for the clarification. I was fortunate enough to pick up an old roland e kit for $50 bucks this winter, so haven't spent a ton of time with Aerodrums the last few months. I wasn't sure if there had been an update. The verbiage threw me off. Thanks for the reply, and good to see you back in the pubs with the aerodrums!
