Aerodrums and OS

Post by Carlus » Wed Oct 08, 2014 9:46 am

Hi,

I'm drummer and teacher and the project interest me.
But, like a lot of musicians and about 5% of people on the planet, I have any Windows or iOS, but GNU/Linux.
It's maybe a little percent, but a big number of users....
Free, open and very stable it's the best system for a musician (just my opinion).

Why do you not develop under this system ?
Even the VST instrument can work now under it.

It's not possible for me to buy anoter computer only for Aerodrums.

Thank a lot for your anwser.
Best

We would love to add support for Linux in the future. If there is more demand for it we will try to release a Linux version next year.

Yes please. Adding linux support would be great!

Could you give a litte bit more information about the software? Is it java?
Do you think it could work with wine (https://www.winehq.org/)?

Thanks a lot.

We're still very hopeful about getting it done but I don't think it will be ready in the first half of this year.
