Re: Studio Drummer Mac Midi Presets
Thanks AJRobert, we will update the "Using Aerodrums with DAWs" page so that other users are aware of your findings. Ginosphere, I think this is normal. On my Windows installation of Studio Drummer, I have .nki files (but no .nka files) here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Studio Drummer Library\Instrume...

Re: Instal problems on iMac 10.10.1
Hmm...the pop-up should be different depending on whether you double-clicked on the Aerodrums icon or you control-clicked/right-clicked on it and selected 'Open'. In the first case the pop-up should have an 'Ok' button but in the second case it should have an 'Open' button and a 'Cancel' button. The...

Re: Ride double blow
Normally this double hit effect results from the stick bouncing unintentionally in your hand after a hit. If you don't control the rebound you may trigger extra hits. There is a sensitivity setting in the Latency menu which can help fix this. Since you mention the ride specifically, it doesn't sound...

Re: i can not play tracks recorded
The recordings themselves are saved in files with the extension .aer that only Aerodrums understands. To convert these files to a playable format you need to go to the Recordings screen in Aerodrums, choose a recording and click the "Export wav..." button. You should have no problem playing back the...

Thanks for the feedback. There is no way to disable the inertia but an option could be added. We will review it before the next update.

Re: Grouping of 8th notes
Sorry, unfortunately there is no way currently to override the automatic grouping of eight notes. Regarding being able to see which bar you're editing in the layout (topmost) pane, we do draw a red box around the quarter note being edited. In case you can't see it because the bar you're editing is o...

Re: Insert Bars ?
Hi, sorry for the delay. There is no simple way to insert an empty bar at the very beginning but you can do it with these steps: 1. Insert an empty bar after the first bar (hover the mouse cursor over the first bar and press 'i') 2. Select all notes in the first bar (hover the mouse cursor over the ...

Re: Future of Aerodrums Software
We just posted some info about the new update here . As mentioned there, the release of the brush support has been delayed a bit as there were a couple of things we think we can do better and would like to try improve these first. Sorry about that. We don't have an ETA yet but the next update should...
