Re: crashes on opening

One thing you can check is if you have Exclusive WASAPI support enabled and configured as required by Aerodrums. To do this go to Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback tab. Select the audio device you are using and go to Properties -> Advanced tab. In the Default Format drop down menu, make sure that a...

Re: Newbie

What you say is correct. The reason Aerodrums works so well is that you can be very imprecise in where you're hitting a drum and still hit it. We do plan to introduce a feature that will prevent hits being triggered when the stick is too far from a drum. We have a prototype of this and it helps a lo...

Re: Sony PS3 Eye Camera, Eyetoy V's EyeCreate

You can purchase an Aerodrums and camera bundle from aerodrums.com (currently only in the UK/Ireland due to limited stock). The camera is the required Sony Playstation Eye camera so you will just need a suitable Mac or Windows computer. If you purchase Aerodrums from Amazon it won't include the Play...

Re: crashes on opening

The crash is more than likely due to an audio device initialization problem. If you get a chance it would be great if you could try change 'Device_Type = 3' to 'Device_Type = 1' in the aerodrums.cfg file and see if that prevents the crash and lets you run Aerodrums. This change will cause Aerodrums ...

Re: Can this laptop handle Aerodrums decently?

Probably but I can't guarantee it as it is below the spec of the least powerful laptop we tested (a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo which had no problem running Aerodrums).

Re: Adjusting volume against music?

It would be best to reduce the volume from the Spotify interface, assuming this is possible. If it's not then you can increase the volume of the drums from within Aerodrums. You can find these volume controls by entering the Menu from the drumming screen, hitting the "Sound" button and then hitting ...

Re: Change the midi notes being outputted from Aerodrums?

Yes, in a future software update you will be able to customize the MIDI notes directly within Aerodrums. If you're specifically interesting in remapping notes for Steven Slate Drums or Superior Drummer, you may be able to achieve the desired results by changing the MIDI mappings within their plugins...

Re: inspiron 3521 - enough?

Running Aerodrums by itself should be fine. Hard to say though if you'll be able to run Reaper and Aerodrums at the same time and send MIDI between them.
