Re: Aerodrums with Mac

Ok quick update!...since my original post I found a 2009 iMac on eBay for £115...the short story is that it runs Aerodrums like a dream... :D ..also today I fired up GarageBand and in less than a minute it was triggering the inbuilt GB kits...no setting up internal midi/tweaking/configuration requir...

Re: Aerodrums with Mac

Ah that sounds great..thanks Richard...I think I will just go for it and take the plunge. There are quite a few 5-6 yr old Macs around at good prices at the moment. Im thinking an iMac with 4GB Ram, IOS 10.11 (El Capitan), might be ok for my needs..I know very little about Macs and have even less ex...

Aerodrums with Mac

Hi,

I’m thinking of getting myself a Mac purely for Aerodrums..up to now I’ve always used Windows on various old laptops, with varying degrees of success :D ...can anybody offer any tips/advice please?..how do things seem to run in your own experiences?.

Re: DIY Foot Pedals

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I have been thinking about this to have a foot spot where to hit consistently. Yeah I was thinking it’s also handy if you’re fortunate to be able to leave everything set up...you’re able to literally switch on and go again...I may make another to experiment with double ped...

Re: My solution for cable management and using a camera tripod

Thanks Svander that’s a neat solution you got there...Great to hear your drumming passion has been rekindled by Aerodrums!..I got mine in 2015 as I lived in an apartment and worked mainly on cruise ships..so they ticked all the boxes for me :D

All the best

DIY Foot Pedals

Hi..just a short video showing some foot pedals I made today. https://youtu.be/nYhfjfwpJMQ I think Aerodrums works brilliantly without them to be honest, so it’s not a problem that needed a solution, it’s just something different if you maybe prefer the feel of some kind of pedal under your foot. Th...

Ultimate ‘Lockdown’ kit

Hi..hope everyone is ok and staying safe. Was thinking today that Aerodrums must be THE most 'lockdown friendly' solution for many people at this strange time right now. Even 'regular' electronic drums would be impossible for many family groups going through isolation in apartments or small houses e...
