Re: Insert rest
The idea between Aered is that the rests are placed automatically so you never have to worry about them. As such, there is no way to insert rests manually. If you think there are cases where Aered produces incorrect music notation please let us know!

Re: Change Tempo
Sorry, I completely overlooked this post. You should be able to change the playback tempo by either: - Editing the tempo text annotation in the layout pane. You will see this on the screen when you create a new file. The default quarter note tempo is 100. You can't currently change this to a half no...

Re: Adding drum samples on Mac version ++
Hi, I'm not sure why using custom samples isn't working for you. We require the .wav files to be in uncompressed format. If you can email me one of your wav files we can investigate what the problem is. You can find my email address here: http://aerodrums.com/about-aerodrums/ You can't currently cha...

Re: Mac version released
Hi Bernie, thanks for the kind words. I agree - more control over the individual instrument volumes would be useful. I assume you have specified your own .wavs for the surdo and tamborim? If this is the case you can probably work around the problem by amplifying the wav files using a program like Au...

Re: Feature requests
Thanks for the suggestions. Of the features you mentioned, adding the ability to specify a sticking line is a high priority for us. (The text annotations are definitely not appropriate for this.) Adding repeat counts will also come soon and maybe the additional ledger lines since you're not the firs...

Re: Protools crashes using Addictive Drums midi mapping
Hi, we should be able to guide you through the steps necessary to recreate an Aerodrums MIDI map. But before we do that we would like to contact XLN Audio to find out why Aerodrums.ADMap results in a crash. It's possible that those files aren't intended to be shared between users. Would you mind ema...

Re: Problems on Mac OsX
A big thanks to Pietro ('gandalff') for doing lots of testing for us and for helping us figure out why Aered wasn't working on 10.6 (Snow Leopard). If you tried the Mac version of Aered previously and it wasn't working for you, please grab it from http://aerodrums.com/get-aered and try it again. We ...

Re: Problems on Mac OsX
Hi, sorry again about this issue. We have updated the Aered installer at http://aerodrums.com/get-aered. It should now be compatible with older versions of OS X.
If you can let us know if the new version works for you that would be great.
