Re: request Midi to trigger internal aerodrums recording.
There is really no latency with Rearoute nor with Jack audio, I’ve tried both a lot of times the last 2 years by doing rehearsals over the internet using the program Jamulus. Both are working, but Rearoute is more easy and much faster to apply then Jack. I take one or the other depending the softs I...

Re: request Midi to trigger internal aerodrums recording.
First if Aerodrums could listen to some MIDI CC, it would really make my life more easy. I’m playing Aerodrums in several groups and it’s important for me being able to control things like the volume by hardware in real time. For me it would be enough if I could chose a kit or adjust the general vol...

Re: EQ on seperate drums or multiple outputs to a mixer?!?!?
Hi Evgeny, Sorry for not sharing your opinion, but let me explain my thoughts. “I think applying EQ inside Aerodrums is a very nice idea, its easy to implement.” Yes, it would be nice, and you are certainly right about finding and implementing open EQ algorithms, but I think this would require a lot...

Re: EQ on seperate drums or multiple outputs to a mixer?!?!?
To record MIDI on the same computer, and even multi-channel MIDI, Aerodrums already relies on the use of a virtual MIDI cable like LoopBe. Why not do the same with audio? Rearoute and Jack are actually virtual audio cables presented to an application as a sound device. JackInstall-16.jpg In this exa...

Re: EQ on seperate drums or multiple outputs to a mixer?!?!?
My last post may require a bit more explanation. I said that the ASIO configuration in Aerodrums which is not at all standard, because all the programs I know that support ASIO (about ten) work in this way (here it's Reaper): I choose the audio system ASIO-setup-1.jpg I choose my ASIO driver ASIO-se...

Re: MIDI RECORDING TIPS
It’s strange that you don’t hear the same things. A long time ago I had a problem with recording MIDI into Tracktion. Whilst playing there wasn’t any problem, but the recording was garbage. This is why I went to use Reaper. Have you seen this before? Do you have this with both DAWs and with both VST...

Re: EQ on seperate drums or multiple outputs to a mixer?!?!?
I was contacting Yann for this recently. we would configure it to output multiple stereo channels, e.g. one for each drum. I don’t think you need stereo channels for this and this might even interfere with the panning settings on the mixer. Like in a real mike-setup, 8 mono channels should be enough...

Re: MIDI RECORDING TIPS
Hi condordontsurf,
I cannot help you with Ableton or Logic, my DAW is Reaper, but I’m using SSD5 and Addictive.

I’m sorry, I don’t understand your question. What exactly isn’t working for you?condordontsurf wrote: ↑Fri Jan 21, 2022 12:48 amNot full snare hits. I know this is a velocity issue.

Re: MIdi and Open Hi Hat
Hi,
Personally I have never seen this, but which vsti are you speaking about, and are you using the right MIDI map for it? Also do two or three hits with your hi-hat (foot) before starting to play.
