Re: Repeating/Looping bars...

Thanks Dave, the ability to specify a repeat count will probably come in the next update. Regarding your lost changes, Aered should display a yes/no/cancel message box asking you if you want to save changes before quitting. When you open your .aer file, the title bar at the top of the Aered window w...

Re: aered is not working on windows 7

Sorry for the delay in replying. It sounds like the file you downloaded might be corrupt. What you describe happened to another user and after downloading aered.exe again it worked fine for them so might be worth trying that.

Re: flams and drags

Yes, it's possible. With the mouse cursor over a note, press the 'f' key to toggle a flam or the 'd' key to toggle a drag. You can also press the middle mouse button over a note to cycle between normal/flam/drag.

Re: Download paid version

Sorry for the delay. The download is the same for the free and paid versions of Aered. To activate the paid version you need to use the registration code you received when you purchased it. To do this, run the free version of Aered and click on the 'About Aered' button (second from last in the colum...

Re: MIDI I/O and extensions

Thanks for all the suggestions. We will add support for MIDI files and/or direct MIDI output. Probably the way we will do this is to add a new tab to the Preferences dialog where you can specify which MIDI note is used for each drum/cymbal. VST/AU hosting directly within Aered is another feature tha...

Re: More ram

Hi, I'm going to assume that you believe there are issues running Aerodrums because the performance indicator (the small rectangle in the top left corner of the drumming screen) is red instead of green. If this is not the case please let me know. If you don't have sufficient RAM, this may of course ...

Re: Entering odd number groupings as sixteenth notes

This is not yet possible. We are working on extending the text entry capabilities of Aered (to allow easy entry of lyrics, sticking line, count line, etc.) but will also keep the case you mention in mind.

Re: Insert rest

The idea between Aered is that the rests are placed automatically so you never have to worry about them. As such, there is no way to insert rests manually. If you think there are cases where Aered produces incorrect music notation please let us know!

Re: Change Tempo

Sorry, I completely overlooked this post. You should be able to change the playback tempo by either: - Editing the tempo text annotation in the layout pane. You will see this on the screen when you create a new file. The default quarter note tempo is 100. You can't currently change this to a half no...
