Thanks Dave, the ability to specify a repeat count will probably come in the next update. Regarding your lost changes, Aered should display a yes/no/cancel message box asking you if you want to save changes before quitting. When you open your .aer file, the title bar at the top of the Aered window w...

Sorry for the delay in replying. It sounds like the file you downloaded might be corrupt. What you describe happened to another user and after downloading aered.exe again it worked fine for them so might be worth trying that.
Yes, it's possible. With the mouse cursor over a note, press the 'f' key to toggle a flam or the 'd' key to toggle a drag. You can also press the middle mouse button over a note to cycle between normal/flam/drag.

This is not yet possible. We are working on extending the text entry capabilities of Aered (to allow easy entry of lyrics, sticking line, count line, etc.) but will also keep the case you mention in mind.
The idea between Aered is that the rests are placed automatically so you never have to worry about them. As such, there is no way to insert rests manually. If you think there are cases where Aered produces incorrect music notation please let us know!
Sorry, I completely overlooked this post. You should be able to change the playback tempo by either: - Editing the tempo text annotation in the layout pane. You will see this on the screen when you create a new file. The default quarter note tempo is 100. You can't currently change this to a half no...
