My apologies if this is slightly off-topic but another option for using different sounds in your recordings is to ‘replace’ the relevant sounds afterwards. Hi Chris, I think basically what you’re after is a ‘ Jamhub’ type solution..Roland also make a ‘silent rehearsal’ unit but neither of these options are cheap. Best looking for a cheap mixer with multiple individual monitor sends..that way each musician gets their own individual mix sent to their hea...

Hi Condordontsurf....hope you are enjoying dabbling with custom samples. After several experiments with midi I have much more enjoyed creating my own custom drum elements. I basically recorded 10-15 different velocity levels of each kit piece using just a single condenser mic into my Tascam recorder...

I have exactly the same as Wolfgang...UCA 202....also a Xenyx 302...both really easy to use and super-portable units .

I’ve found as long as an untreated (no curtains) window is behind the camera I’ve not had a problem..I have mine set up with a glass door behind with no issues..cheers!
