Re: How do I position the drums and pedals
Smasha, good to hear you got Exclusive WASAPI working. In case you haven't done so already, on the Latency screen I would also make sure the "Buffer size" is set as low as possible (personally I have this set to 0.3ms) and also that the "Drum hit detection sensitivity" is set to Expert (the default ...

Re: What is the max on kit size?
While Aerodrums ships with 15" and 18" crashes, the "Big Rock Kit" and "Big Jazz Kit" presets only use the 18". Of course, there no reason why you couldn't add the 15" as well.

Re: Feature requests
The problem is that, to the camera, these look like downward strikes, i.e. in the upswing, once you reach the highest point, the stick starts coming down again. It is not clear how to differentiate between normal downstrokes and these type of "spurious" downstrokes but it is something we plan to loo...

Re: Midi Out Problem
Hi Martin, sorry about this, there is a known issue related to MIDI output that we discovered recently. We have a fix for it that we're currently testing. You can expect an update to be released in the next few days. We will post back here as soon as it's ready to download.

Re: Latest gig with Aerodrums - now on Youtube
Thanks for posting those videos Jon. Really great to see. RTK, Aerodrums detects the velocity of the foot and stick markers and uses that to choose appropriate samples/volumes. It also plays different samples for the left hand versus the right hand. If the preset drum kits it ships with aren't to yo...

Re: First Gig with Aerodrums
Thanks for the sketch Jon. It makes sense to have the camera pointing towards a background that is predictable and can be controlled such as the side/back of the stage as opposed to a placement where other musicians or the audience are in view. At the same time you yourself want to face the audience...

Re: Feature requests
Hi Ferdinand, thanks for the valuable feedback. As you may have guessed from our blog posts, for the last couple of months we have been concentrating on adding Mac support (recently released) and MIDI support (being released this Wednesday) to Aerodrums. Now that that is nearly out of the way we wil...

Re: Force a line feed
Tom, sorry I missed your original post. There is currently no way to force a line break but it's a feature that has been requested a few times now so can expect it in the next update of Aered.

Re: Feature requests
Thanks for the suggestion Brett. We'll have a think about how we can support placing drums with the mouse but the general problem (that's probably not obvious) is the drums actually have a position in 3D space so in addition to placing a drum on the 2D screen you'd also need the ability to modify it...

Re: First Gig with Aerodrums
Congratulations Jon! It looks like you're the first person to perform a live show using Aerodrums. Really great to hear you pulled it off and thanks for the valuable feedback. Myself and Yann are very curious about how you and the camera were positioned with respect to the guitarist. Perhaps you cou...
