Re: Feature requests

Thanks for the feedback and your requests. As mentioned in my previous post, the Mac version of Aered will be available shortly and we will release a list of improvements and new features we're working on soon so people know what to expect in the new year.

Re: fr: separate midi out for left hand and right hand hit

That's awesome Ben, very nice demonstration! We had similar ideas about placing the marker above the stick tip but were concerned that the stick would naturally rotate too much in your hand to make this practical without modifying the stick in other ways. Do you find that it's a problem to keep the ...

Re: fr: separate midi out for left hand and right hand hit

You're correct that the pedal range screen only affects the behaviour of the hi-hat and not the kick. We plan to make some changes to the interface here to make this clearer. The main reason we decided not to output MIDI notes for left and right hand hits is that, from looking at many of the popular...

Re: Drum notation guide / info copying

Hi, the Mac version will be coming very soon, no later than January. Regarding your first question, there is no easy way to make a drum key in the current release. However, we have already done some work on automatically generating keys (see image below) and will release this feature soon, probably ...

Re: Error Message

Hi, regarding the zip file unpacking issue, one option would be to unzip it on your desktop PC and then copy the files on a memory stick (or by some other means) to your laptop. Another thing I suggest is to try use something other than the Windows built-in zip extractor to unpack the zip, e.g. the ...

Re: What is the max on kit size?

There should be no problem with that laptop, provided it's running Windows Vista, 7 or 8. If you have any issues running Aerodrums on it pm or email me and we'll help.

Re: What is the max on kit size?

Hi, welcome to the forums. There is no limit to how many drums / cymbals you can add to your kit. However, the more you add the more accurate you will need to be to hit them. We have made kits with the exact same elements you listed and there is no issue playing a kit like this.

Re: Request -BFD ECO midi map

Regarding the sensitivity of the snare, the issue here is that the quietest snare hits in BFD are a lot louder than the quietest hits when using the Aerodrums samples. So ghost notes that would be barely audible with the Aerodrums samples are very audible in BFD. To fix this you should increase the ...
