Re: unintentional hits

Further spacing of the drums will not counteract unintentional hits, since there still will be no silent areas. There is always an overlap. One suggestion could be that when/if you set up Aerodrums together with Superior Drummer, SSD, BFD etc (like I do) you could create a drum but not assign any so...

Re: Version 1.0.21 does not work

Hello Yann, Thanks for input. Using the legacy driver made no difference. Since then I decided to reinstall OS, and also change it to W10, which apparently seems to be working. I have no idea why that is however. Right now I have AD running as normal on the #2-computer. Regarding the old Dell (#1), ...

Re: Version 1.0.21 does not work

Hi JRC, thank you sharing your experiences. Regarding your two issues: (1) That Dell is a very old model (2008?) with integrated Intel graphics so yes, it's very likely to be an OpenGL 2.0 compatibility issue. I recommend trying to upgrade the graphics drivers. Many users have had issues that have ...

Version 1.0.21 does not work

Hello, I have 4 different machines. Two fairly high-end, and two more modest ones (listed below). On two of these, which I use at home (below), Aerodrums 1.021 does not work, for two different reasons. On the third, and most recent monster, I still have Aerodrums 1.019, which I use for rehearsals an...

Re: Separate MIDI notes sent when reaching above set velocit

Yes, AD will send two different MIDI notes. In snare head (38) and rim (40), and hats edge (46), bow (26). Of course you can adjust the value e.g. for snare so that "rim hit after 100%" which means it only sends head (38) note no matter how hard you hit. Thanks Espen - also confirmed today when I w...

Separate MIDI notes sent when reaching above set velocity?

Greetings! In a few weeks time I will do a corporate big band gig with the AD:s and a bunch of VST:s. However got to think of the velocity-based triggering of rimshots hihat edge hits anew: - In the closed realm of AD alone we may set a treshold for when different samples will be triggered for rimsh...

Re: Feedback and infos on free alternative drumkit

I myself use mainly commercial VST drum romplers (Superior Drummer. Addictive Drums, Steven Slate, Abbey Road etc.), but if free is requested I would also suggest a very good library for Kontakt: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/sennheiser-drumica-free.198219/ https://www.youtube.com...

Re: Case? Bag? Storage and safe transport ideas?

Thanks:)

Nothing fancy really - just several times heavier than the AD:s. Feel free to see my second post in this thread where I link to the case and inlay.
