Re: Cant initialize audio device on Mac

Sorry I should have instructed you on how to get some sound out of Aered. The easiest way is to click the Preferences button on the left, then click the Audio tab in the top left, then click the Enabled button under Click Track and then click Close. Now press 'p' (or click the green play button) to ...

Re: Cant initialize audio device on Mac

Sorry for the delay. I'm a bit stumped with this one. Have you tried to run our Aered software (https://aerodrums.com/get-aered/) on your Mac? It also uses the same audio engine as Aerodrums. Since Audacity works for you, I'm wondering if perhaps our audio libraries need to be updated to the latest ...

Re: Cant initialize audio device on Mac

So when you try to run Aerodrums it pops up an error message saying it's unable to initialize an audio device? Does it let you select any audio devices from the Latency screen after that point? Also, in case you're not set to "No MIDI" on the MIDI screen, can you set it to no MIDI and see if it make...

Re: Cant initialize audio device on Mac

That's quite odd. This is the first time we've heard of this happening on a Mac. If you had a DAW or other software running at the time you launched Aerodrums I would reboot and try it again before running any other applications. If you have time it would good if you could download and run the free ...

Re: .aer files can't be launched on Mac

Dragging and dropping .aer files onto the Aered window is now supported. However, the association between .aer files and the Aered application is not set up automatically. You may be able to fix this by manually associating .aer files with Aered as explained here: https://support.apple.com/en-sa/gui...

Re: Application Resolution Size

This is a known issue that we will fix in a future update. In the meantime, you may be able to fix this by changing the Windows display scaling settings for the Aered application. This article has instructions explaining how to do it: https://www.lifewire.com/using-windows-10-display-scaling-4587328...

Re: Windows 11

Aerodrums requires an audio device that supports 44.1 kHz. I'm not sure that explains why the device list is empty in Aerodrums though and it doesn't explain the popup warning you see when running Aerodrums. Also, ASIO4ALL nearly always works when a sound card's Exclusive WASAPI drivers don't suppor...
