Re: Accessing Aerodrums 2 from MacOS Sequoia
Thanks for posting this. We do mention this on the webpage where you can download the Mac version of the Aerodrums 2 app. It says: "When you run the app for the first time, Mac OS will ask you if it is allowed to access the local network. Please select yes so the app can communicate with the Aerodru...

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
We could either look at publishing the app on the Mac App Store, or else we could opt out of allowing the iOS app from being installed on MacBooks. We will do something about this as there are probably many users, like you, who ended up installing the iOS version without realising that a native macO...

That's cool - I never considered DIY'ing a reverse beater from a metal rod but it looks like it works well. Good job!

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
I can see how that webpage might be confusing. The link to the Apple App Store is intended to be used to install the app on iPads and iPhones, while the link further below is for MacBooks. We will update the page to make this clearer. Thanks.

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
Ah, that would explain it! It seems you had installed the iOS version of the Aerodrums 2 app on your MacBook.
You need the native MacBook version which isn't currently available on the Mac App Store and can only be downloaded from here: https://aerodrums.com/app

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
That's very strange. I'm not sure why you're not seeing the extra button on the Files panel. I tried to reproduce it now on a MacBook Air and it is working as expected. We will try to test it on some other MacBooks but if any other users reading this have the same problem with app v6, please let us ...

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
I can see that you are up to date. If you are connected to the Aerodrums 2 device using your home WiFi then the app will check for updates automatically when you run it. If instead you are connected using the Aerodrums-XXXX hotspot then no internet access will be available so those checks won't happ...

Re: Adding songs from Mac, and suggestions
Hi, are you on the latest update (app v6 / firmware v5)? If so, the Files panel in the app should have a button next to the URL text field. When you click this button it will pop up a normal file browser where you can point to MP3 files. This also supports selecting multiple files at once and select...

Re: Forum substructure enhancement/ Proposal
We are planning to do a restructuring of the forums soon, at least to have some separation between Aerodrums 1 and Aerodrums 2 specific topics. We will take your suggestions on board, thanks.

Re: Notation Key "Special Rows"
Hi, the half-open/open hi-hat rows are a special case because they are connected to the closed hi-hat row. You can change the staff line that is used for the hi-hat but you can't use the half-open/open hi-hat symbols for other drums.
