Re: Cymbal triggers fine, then suddenly doesn’t

I agree with Wolfgang. I think that hanging a black fabric is overkill but you should check that what's behind you on stage isn't likely to cause a problem. For example, reflective materials like glass, mirrors, or shiny metal could be an issue. Incandescent light bulbs also, but these are becoming ...

Re: Cymbal triggers fine, then suddenly doesn’t

Thanks for sharing the video, this helps a lot. You can see from it that there is something in the lower left corner that look like reflective markers to the Aerodrums 2 camera. Sometimes the tracking system locks on to these instead of your stick markers and that's why your sticks loose tracking. T...

Re: Tips/Feature Request for Kit Placement

Hi, thanks for these suggestions about automatic drum piece placement. Our original plan was to only have preset drum sets with lots of variants for each drum set to cater to people of differing height. But that was before we added drum set customization to the app so we didn't end up adding all the...

Re: What GPU are you guys running with Aerodrums?

Have you experimented with pressing ctrl+g from the drumming screen to cycle through the alternate graphics modes? These graphics modes will perform better than the default mode so switching to one of them might prevent the lag you're seeing. One of the modes even disables graphics completely so if ...

Re: Cymbal triggers fine, then suddenly doesn’t

Thanks for sharing those videos. It is very strange. If you hadn't previously told me that you tried it in a different location I would have assumed that the issue was caused by a reflection from all the shiny drum hardware next to you. But as I understand it, it doesn't make a difference where you ...

Re: Cymbal triggers fine, then suddenly doesn’t

steull6163: It sounds like your problem may be different from the one GaryKatz is having. Are your sticks also disappearing? If not, could you try using the "Hit to Place" button in the top right corner of the drum kit editor screen to position your cymbal at the location that you expect to hit it. ...

Re: Aerodrums on Mac Silicon

Thanks for raising this. We're aware that Rosetta 2 is being phased out by Apple and we do plan to port the Aerodrums software to Apple Silicon before that happens.

Re: How to NOT use a real bass drum pedal

Interesting! Does it work as well as you were hoping? It feels like it might be hard to keep your foot balanced on the spring? We have experimented with a marker attached to the Hansen Futz practice pedal which also has a large spring. It works well for the hi-hat pedal but doesn't feel quite right ...

Re: Cymbal triggers fine, then suddenly doesn’t

It is unlikely that the china cymbal can be hit one minute and the next it can't be. If you are confident about that let us know because it would suggest a bug we haven't seen before. I think you will find that once you locate a position to hit the air that triggers the china cymbal then that same p...
