The current stick length is approximately 411mm (395mm without the ball at the end).
We don't have current plans to offer different sizes. However, Aerodrums comes with a replacement ball kit so you easily adapt your own pair of sticks for use with Aerodrums if you prefer.

Re: Rim-shot
Aerodrums in its current hardware incarnation cannot detect stick orientation so we are not able to trigger rimshots based on hit angle. However, the snare drum can be easily configured to trigger rimshots when the hit speed is above a specified threshold. This works very effectively since generally...

Re: Aerodrums and OS
We would love to add support for Linux in the future. If there is more demand for it we will try to release a Linux version next year.

Re: Greetings, New to Forum
Even though each ball only weighs about 3 grams, the sticks that currently ship with Aerodrums are specially balanced so that the center of mass is slightly closer to the butt of the stick. We tried to make the sticks feel as close as possible to normal sticks. We also opted for a relatively light s...

Re: Paid version
Hi Jonny, thanks for purchasing Aered. There is no difference between the two versions. To activate your copy, click on the About button (second from the bottom on the left column) and enter your code in the screen that pops up.

Re: Time signatures
Thanks Ken, unfortunately, only time signatures that are a whole number of quarter notes are currently possible. We plan to address this limitation in the future.
Re: DIY Pedal
Very nice, thanks for sharing! Would love to see it in action if you have the means to record a short video. I'm curious about how much rebound you get from it.

Re: Brush sounds possible?
Hi Nicola, We don't ship brush samples with Aerodrums currently. However we do have such samples ready and will release them at some point. At the moment we are doing some research to see if we can take it a step further and support sweeping the brushes on the snare. We'll keep you posted. Regarding...

Unfortunately, there are many more features and fixes that are taking priority right now.

Re: Superior Drums Map has no Ride cymbal
I don't have more news on SD2 yet but regarding MDrummer, to be honest it doesn't look like that software was designed to be used with e-drums. I downloaded the demo and didn't find any way to configure the hi-hat to respond to CC4 (the MIDI continuous controller that Aerodrums and most electronic d...
