Re: Never have I been this frustratet in my live

@condordontsurf Hehe, you mean easy as in assembling 20ish components into a piece of furniture, and working out 5+ cables? And also, unless you buy e-drums over £1000, if you want dynamics and audio fidelity that compare with Aerodrums, you need to factor in MIDI connection to a computer plus setti...

Re: Hi-Hat always closed AD2 w/ Fl Studio 20

If I understand you correctly, you can get the stream of openness CC value by unticking the "Send openness only on hihat hits" checkbox in Aerodrums. It's odd that this would be needed to follow the steps, since even with the box ticked, a CC value is sent each time you hit the hihat with the stick....

My colleague Richard found this that I think will solve your issue: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:52SPLpb8ppwJ:https://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php%3Ft%3D160848&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ie Could you let me know the outcome after you try it? Re: Hi-Hat always closed AD2 w/ Fl Studio 20

Hello, it was me we tried to help. Did you find how to reset a plugin in FL to reset AD2 there? If you couldn't find any info on this. Did you try removing the AD2 plugin from FL and adding it back in? It that fails it would also probably be worth a try to uninstall AD2 and reinstall it in between r...

Re: Linux

Thank you for doing more work on this. Yes this is a good way to measure latency. 15-18ms is not ideal but it is definitely good enough to play without it being distracting. Of course it is much more than an acoustic set, but for example it is a bit less than depressing an acoustic piano key softly....

Re: Linux

Wow, a lot of effort and know-how went into this. Thank you for working on it. Before we can endorse this solution we need to check the patch and understand the implications for the user's system. We haven't had time to do this yet but plan to soon. Until then, please exercise caution and use your j...

Re: What type of glue for the replacement balls?

Hello, I am sorry that this happened. Yes it is standard silicone glue. More precisely it is neutral cure, low modulus, clear silicone sealant. If you don't get neutral cure it will be smellier. Clear is just for aesthetics. Low modulus gives some flexibility. We haven't experimented with silicones ...

Re: Edge/centered assignments when adding samples?

Yes, if there is no correlation, as in, you may want to hit on the edge hard or soft and at the center hard or soft in equal measures, then it won't work to mix samples in the element, as you will loose control of your playing.
