Hello! Some time ago the Aerodrums 2 firmware was updated to v4 and app to v5. I haven't seen any announcement of that, however. If the developers have time to write up some kind of release notes (short or long), that would be lovely - it's always fun to read what's new in Aerodrums!

Is it possible to disable the gestures yet?

I haven't received my unit yet, but I think I've read somewhere that Aerodrums 2 will not play anything if you hit empty space. It's probably configurable how accurate you need to be, but in any case hitting far away from any drum will not trigger a sound.

Yes it is normal. The software will trigger a drum for every hit (to my knowledge).
