Re: Using USB power banks with Aerodrums 2
so we also got a USB-A to barrel cable that does 5v to 18v voltage step up itself This is probably the best solution with the widest compatibility. As you mentioned already relying on usb pd is not great. When pd negotiation fails, the usb pd device I was playing with still output 5V when it couldn...

Re: AD2 White Noise (static) on headphones
While the device is on, could you plug a jack in the line-in socket, wait 2 seconds then unplug it? That fixed it. I don't recalling having this problem before though (I don't use my AD2 much). Perhaps I was mistakenly plugging into the line input first and then plugging into the headphones. I reme...

AD2 White Noise (static) on headphones
I don't know if it was because of the v4 update I just applied, but the noise on the heaphones is quite loud and distracting. I don't recall it being this loud pre update, but at the same time it's always been there.
Are there any known workarounds?

Re: homemade hard tips
does anyone know what the internal material of the Aerodrums 2 balls could be? I just received my Aerodrums 2. If I had to guess, I'd say the balls are made in a way a lot like the video juanka792 (awesome job!) made. Except I don't think the shells used are PVA. There are two shells joined togethe...

Re: 2.4G Wireless Earphone Monitor M-vave
First and foremost, it's really important to note that 650 samples at 48000 Hz has a duration of 135ms, not 13.5. As Richard pointed out, you made a mistake. 650/48000 = 0.0135 seconds. Or 13.5ms. 1) the way you tested latency here introduced way too many other variables and potential imprecisions ...

Aerobound - the air drumming "rebound"
I noticed that you can emulate a free stroke or full stroke with air drumming and this action needed a name. Since rebound was out of the question, I decided to call it Aerobound. I imagine that most of us learn to hit a drum using a full stroke. The idea is to throw the stick at the pad or drum and...

Re: Aerodrums 2 Questions and Suggestions
1. for those that will use Aerodrums 2 as a midi instrument or with a DAW like me, I'm hoping that the requirement for using a virtual midi convertor (LoopBe) has been removed, and it works as plug and play. Aerorums 2 should show up as a real usb midi device. So no need for a virtual midi cable. I...

Re: Aerodrums 2 Questions and Suggestions
I found a way how to have always the same exact positions of each drum when changing drum-kits. And it’s now over 5 years I’m using this procedure. Change your elements without having to replace them This is pretty cool, I haven't seen it before. Unfortunately, we probably won't have access to the ...

Re: invisible light camera modification for everyone!
So, you are saying that technically you don't need anything in front of the camera and lights, it's just for aesthetics? I guess you can say it's also for ESD protection (electrostatic discharge). It also keeps the dust out. If you plan to pack it around a lot, the cover is a good idea. If it's goi...

Re: invisible light camera modification for everyone!
https://www.amazon.com/Gzikai-9-6mm%C3%971-0mm-Optical-Infrared-Modified/dp/B0981BX423/ That glass blocks visible light, but looks pretty transparent to both 850nm and 940nm. So either kind of IR LED should pass through without an issue. Keep in mind that the light leaving the IR LED forms a cone. ...
