Re: invisible light camera modification for everyone!

Thanks for the full reply! Truth be told, Evgeny's mod is brilliant. It really is the best way to go. If a 5V IRED ring were still available though, my mod is even better ;p I did start pricing items from Aliexpress last night and it wouldn't be a killer (just a long wait for delivery!). I would hav...

Re: invisible light camera modification for everyone!

I watched this PS 3 hack and wondered if it would be appropriate for Aerodrums? It looks like he just removes the existing IR filter in the PS3 lens mount and then replaces it with a filter made from floppy disc material to only allow the transmission of IR wavelengths to the CCD. Can it be this str...

Re: invisible light camera modification for everyone!

Returning to Aerodrums after a loooong layoff plus the invite to Aerodrums 2 Kickstarter campaign invite, and fascinated to read this thread again. It has got my DIY juices flowing! Thank you all for your dedication to getting an IR solution up and running. I had to stop playing the LED version live...

Re: Question re: Selling aerodrums

Richard, Thanks for the prompt reply. I have to state that I have loved using Aerodrums - such an innovative product that served me perfectly when I wanted to practice but, because of the proximity to sleeping kids etc, a "real" electronic drum kit would have been too noisy. I now have a "Manshed" t...

Question re: Selling aerodrums

Had a quick search through the forums but couldn't find an answer so... Am I able to sell my Aerodrums to another buyer? If yes, what do I need to do regarding the software authorisation phase - do I pass on my own authorisation code or will the prospective buyer have to contact Aerodrums for their ...

Re: DEV-DIARY: My 3D Version of Aerodrums

I have no idea how you have done what you have done, or what works but.... it's amazing to look at! So impressed that you are giving your development away for others to work on. All the best with the project.

Re: Aerozendrum?

Watching this thread because I also own and play a Zendrum and have thought about the extended application of aerodrum technology into hand drumming. I imagine that you would need a very high resolution from the camera sensor to be able to detect the subtleties of hand drumming (esp the finger movem...

Re: No sound when using alone or when triggered with AD2

Apologies for an obvious question but when you are playing Addictive drums via Reaper do the hits register on the drum kit GUI in Addictive drums? If yes, then you know that the midi is getting through to Addictive Drums so troubleshooting the audio path would be the route to go. Are your ouputs in ...

Re: tried it all - still latency - W10 MS Surface Book

Have you tried installing DPClatency checker: http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml or Latency Moniter: http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon Both are tools to help you to ascertain how well set up your system is for audio latency. The former is more basic but gives you an easy, visual rea...

Re: Solution to a GUI problem

Wow! Thanks so much for that reply. Really interesting stuff. I will try that next time I fire up my kit. I had played with the velocity curve of each kit piece in the map page but I wasn't aware of the randomisation that you addressed. Thanks again.
