Hi,
I noticed that Aerodrums always crashes when trying to play certain songs. It actually crashes when AD tries to load the song. After a little study I found that the duration of a song matters.
The limit seems to be somewhere around 4 min 30 sec. Has anyone else noticed the same, or is it just me?
Playlist songs and crashing
Re: Playlist songs and crashing
I don't think that's the issue.
Bought mine last week and played along to some MP3 tracks without any problem.
Then I started getting freezes when trying to load certain songs.
Since I had too many of them, I couldn't find which specific tracks were corrupted.
So I wiped my MP3 folder and downloaded some of it back into my hard drive.
After that, Aerodrums went back to allowing me to select songs for a playlist; no problems at all.
Then it started freezing once I went into the drumming menu and hit the "Songs" button.
So I uninstalled it, uninstalled the camera drivers and also uninstalled Asio4All.
Reinstalled camera driver and Aerodrums, no Asio4All this time. Set it up with basic audio drivers.
Then I selected a 9 minute song to play to. Drummed to it back to back, it went just fine.
After that, I went back to the Menu and hit the "Songs" button to select another one. By the third time I hit the "Next" button, it froze.
Finally, after all that, it just went back to freezing once I hit the "Songs" button.
I'll probably just format it next saturday and try it all from scratch.

I know this is a real old thread but did anyone ever work out what the problem is? I have the same issue. 50 MP3 files play fine but 2 close the software while loading.Espen wrote:I noticed that Aerodrums always crashes when trying to play certain songs. Think I have resolved my problem.
The sampling rate of my song files was too low. Once set to 44.1 kHz Aerodrums played them fine.
