Getting graphic errors and only see pedals on screen

Getting graphic errors and only see pedals on screen

Postby audionutz » Tue May 10, 2016 3:38 am

Hello Aerodrums,

I just received your wonderful product last week and have been frustrated trying to setup and use it thus far. I installed the program and drivers and open to use it to get red error messages saying hit Ctrl + g to change modes and none helps. Saying my grahic card may not support Opn GL 2.0 or Open GL NPOT extensions??????

I cloned the big rock set and added a second kick drum and only two pedals show on screen and no drums or cymbals however I can hit around in the air and find snare and toms etc. But is there a way I can correct this matter? Im running a dell pc with Windows 7 64bit. Please help as I'm so excited to use this with my EZ Drummer and Nuendo to record and practice with Aerodrums... Thanx in advance!

Best Wishes,

Keith

Hi Keith, if your laptop has both an integrated and a dedicated graphics card then you should try run Aerodrums with both. Let me know if you're unsure how to do this. Other than that, the only way to fix the problem currently is to update your graphics drivers. This usually fixes the problem.

Hello Richard,

And Thanx for your quick reply to my issues here. Well i'm using Aerodrums on my studio pc (not a laptop, but will try next on my laptop as well) and I'm heading there now to search and learn tne make and model of my graphic card. Then i'll come back home to my laptop w internet and search for latest drivers in hopes this will solve my matter as I was sold on this product seeing how well it works on youtube and for the fact I can use this set with Ez Drummer and my DAW to record. Til now since settin up this machine which is a Dell precesion 490 w/ 32 gb ram 3.2 xeon (daul) I've never had any problems with the graphics card.

It looks like your Dell Precision 490 may have an nVidia Quadro FX 3450. If I'm right about that you can download drivers that have OpenGL 2.0+ support from here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe ... 0730/en-us

Hello Richard,

Thanx again for your rather quick replys here on your site and for your supportive help on the matter. Well last nite I thought I fount the right one and downlaoded this driver here from their website:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe ... 2384/en-us

It is a newer release date then to the one you kindly posted a link to, and it does support my model but maybe its not the right? Either way I'm downloading your linked driver and will install it today with hopes i'll be able to fully use Aerodrums. Thanx

No problem. I found those links by entering Quadro NVS 285 from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

But if the ones you found are more recent then you should certainly try those first.
