Playing to Backing Tracks

Post by Heavysoul » Sun Mar 27, 2016 2:51 pm

I've downloaded some backing tracks, how on earth can I get them to play on my laptop at the same time as drumming?

Cheers

If you're on Windows and using the Exclusive WASAPI audio device (set from the Latency screen in Aerodrums) then you won't be able to play your backing tracks from another application. This is because Aerodrums takes exclusive control of the sound card in this case in order to get the lowest latency possible. For this reason Aerodrums has a song playlist editor and the ability to navigate through these songs while drumming. Your backing tracks will need to be in MP3 or OGG format to use this.

Run Aerodrums, then click the Playlist button. Here you can add MP3 files to your playlist.

Once you've done that you can play songs from the drumming screen by entering the drumming menu and hitting the Songs button.
