Can this laptop handle Aerodrums decently?

Post by Manudrummer » Mon Feb 29, 2016 9:02 am

Hello. I would have already have bought Aerodrums if it wasn't because I have an archaic laptop and can't really upgrade right now. I could get another laptop from around 2010 with an intel core i7 720qm with 1,6 ghz and a 6mb cache, it comes with 4 gigs of ram but can be upgraded to 8. I'm looking to get a fluid performance so if this doesn't cut it then it will have to wait to get a better laptop unfortunately. THanks for the help and best of luck with the great product.

Aerodrums runs fine on my Intel Core i7-4500U laptop and according to some online benchmarks the i7-720QM is slower but not by a huge amount. More than likely it would run fine for you.

Similar question, I have an intel core 2 duo with 1.2Ghz, 3 gig ram. Will this laptop be enough to get a smooth experience? Thanks. :)

Probably but I can't guarantee it as it is below the spec of the least powerful laptop we tested (a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo which had no problem running Aerodrums).
