Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that Richard and Yann are very occupied at the NAMM 2016 show where they are demonstrating a new version of Aerodrums.

Some videos on Youtube:

it certainly looks impressive at first but drumming wearing what is in effect a blindfold rules it out for collaboration/jamming, working on arrangement/sounds on a pc at the same time as drumming etc. etc. but the fact they can get that to work is the impressive and encouraging thing!

I see it like you. It's an impressive and encouraging thing, but for making music, playing with others, or even reading scores this will be nearly unusable (or at least with the Oculus Rift).

Microsoft's Hololens will be much more appropriate I think

and I hope this will/can be supported when it will come out.

But in watching the videos, it seems to me that you haven't to wear the VR equipment and you can have a fixed view of your drums on your screen. May be we will get a new graphics mode in 3D. :?:

Hey guys,

VR is cool and maybe the future so I can understand that you have to be first on the market, but son't forget the updates requested as brushes, and adjusting placing elements with mouse or something geeker like x, y, z values ^^

How would it be with the possibility of maybe GearVR?

The reason for asking, is that you can stream from a PC/Mac and then using Vuforia and Unity software turn a GearVR into a holo using the induilt camera from the Galaxy s6/edge or Note 4 and more to come. This would mean, you still see your environment but also the virtual drum kit. Other than that, wait for Microsoft.

Could this work with Google Cardboard?

yes it could but not directly, you will still need a PC/Mac with the PS3 connected. The cpmputer acts then as the server to your Android.

eagleeyez is correct. It should be possible and we'd like to try support it.

Would that cause noticeable latency between audio and visuals?

No, the latency between audio and visuals should be imperceptible.
