Hello,

sorry about this issue, I need to ask you some questions so we can help you solve it.

Do you see this message before clicking the "Configure audio" button? Immediately after clicking it? Or while on the next screen after clicking it?
If on the next screen (Latency), could you describe the buttons you clicked before the crash.

Was this your first ever run of Aerodrums on this computer, or was this your first run after updating your computer to Windows 10 (but Aerodrums was installed and running on your previous version of Windows)?

Could you close all other programs before you run Aerodrums, and let me know if it still crashes?
If it doesn't, could you tell me which other audio programs were running when it did?

Could you tell me your computer model (manufacturer and number)?
Are you using an external audio interface (for example a USB interface)?
If so, does Aerodrums also crash when you run it while the audio interface is unplugged?

I am sorry it is a lot of questions, I have not seen this problem before so I need as much information as possible to fix it.

1. It appears just when I clicked (run) the "Aerodrums". Then I clicked OK, or close the window, it leads me into the 3 steps of instructions, when I come to the step 3, after I clicked the "Configure Audio" button, windows pops up an window saying it crashed and I have to end up the program...

2. I have run the Aerodrums on Mac, everything was good. This is the frist time I run on Windows 10. I have just downloaded from the official site...

3. My computer is Lenovo ThinkPad, a new one...

4. I was not running any other audio program. And the system audio is OK, other program runs OK, the sound system works well.

5. There is no external audio interface. I was only using an wireless mouse usb.

Help...

Thanks~

I could only click the "Shut down"

Dose it matters? There are 3 audio programs, but the sound is no problem. Everything runs OK...

Hello Gosuku,

I am sorry I had not read your post carefully, and that my questions/instructions are in English, I hope you will be able to find the equivalent menus in Windows 10 in Japanese.
Thank you for answering my questions.

Could you take the following steps:

-go to Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound
-select your playback device in the Playback tab and click Properties
-go in the Advanced tab
-in the Exclusive Mode section, are the two check boxes enabled ("Allow applications to take exclusive control" and "Give exclusive mode application priority"?
-if not, please enable them
-in the Default Format section, is a 44100Hz mode available for selection?
-was such a mode selected?
-if yes and no, please select one
-if you were able to make at least one of the changes suggested above, retry launching Aerodrums and let me know if you see the pop-up window at the start (Could not initialize the audio device...)

Please let me know the outcome of the steps.

Yes, those settings are good. This is unfortunate.

I am not familiar with the programs you showed in your screenshot (or with the Dolby and 3D Headphone tabs in your audio device's property panel).
It is possible (but unlikely) that Aerodrums is not compatible with them.
Could you look into their settings to see if they can be disabled without disabling sound altogether?
If so, could you disable them, then try running Aerodrums again?

If this does not work, could you go in Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Device Manager (usually in the top left)
Then click on the arrow next to "Sound, video and game controllers" and tell me the manufacturer (and if available the model) of your audio device?
If there are many devices, you can confirm which is the playback device by going to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Playback tab.

I am sorry that it is proving long and difficult to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing.

Thank you,

I have been reading about this sound device online, it seems that its current Windows 10 driver has issues.
Before attempting to install older drivers for it, could you try this:
-go in Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound
-select your playback device and click Properties
-in the Enhancements tab, if you find a checkbox saying "Disable all enhancements", please check it
-if you do not find it, look in all other tabs for a check box that says "Enable Audio Enhancements", if you find it, please uncheck it
-if you do not find this one either, please go in the Dolby and 3D Headphone tabs and look for an option to disable both those features, and if you find it, please disable them
-assuming you were able to make a change, please restart your computer before trying to run Aerodrums again
