Hi there community!
I am trying to install the software for mac on my mac (v1.0.15-Mac-OS-X-10.6.dmg onto Yosemite 10.10.1)
It says ' To run Aerodrums for the first time, you will need to Ctrl = click the AD icon in the Applications folder then select 'Open' twice. We apologize for this inconvenience. '
However, when I try doing that, just the same pop-up opens with the message above. Any tips or tricks here?
I already dragged the icon in my Appl-folder, but I think I'm going wrong on the CTRL-click part. There is no difference compared to a 'normal' click.
Tips or tricks are very welcome!
Thanks a lot,
Jaap

Hmm...the pop-up should be different depending on whether you double-clicked on the Aerodrums icon or you control-clicked/right-clicked on it and selected 'Open'. In the first case the pop-up should have an 'Ok' button but in the second case it should have an 'Open' button and a 'Cancel' button.
The other thing you can try is to temporarily change your security settings to see if Aerodrums will run. You can do this by going to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General tab and setting the 'Allow applications downloaded from:' option to 'Anywhere'.
Let us know if that helps, thanks.

Hello, you may have dragged the volume that appears on the desktop when you open the .dmg file into your application folder, instead of dragging the Aerodrums application that is contained in the volume.
We should have named the volume "Aerodrums installer" instead of "Aerodrums" to prevent confusion.
Edit: if you are having this problem, drag the "Aerodrums" volume that you placed in the Applications folder to the recycle bin, mount the downloaded .dmg file by double clicking it, double click on the volume named "Aerodrums" that appears on your desktop, then in the finder window that appears, drag the Aerodrums application into the Applications folder as indicated by the arrow.

Thank you all for replying, unfortunately it won't seem to work yet. The security-settings didn't help, and also dragging aerodrums-icon on the desktop (even after opening it in finder) onto the applications folder didn't solve anything.
I removed, re-downloaded, repeated the steps, but just when I right-click (or ctrl-click) the same message appears ' To run Aerodrums for the first time, you will need to Ctrl = click the AD icon in the Applications folder then select 'Open' twice. We apologize for this inconvenience.'
I will keep trying to find more information to that, when I find I let you guys know!
thanks.

Ok, I have sent you a pm so we can get to the bottom of this together.

Thanks Yann, to prepare, I will remove all files, and redownload them, so we can start from the top.

Hi there, problem solved. I needed to drag the BIG icon into the BIG applications icon-map. Up and running perfectly.
It was very obvious indeed, I am new to apple, so sorry and thanks for support.
