Exported WAV files crash all players

Post by BenkeSmith » Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:42 am

Just bought Aerodrums (yesterday), software is latest version.
Today I tried to export my recordings a WAV files (with and without songs).
The file sizes seem OK, but I can't play the audio files, they crash every player!

We haven't seen an issue like this before. Could you email one of the broken WAV files to richard.lee@aerodrums.com and I'll check what's wrong with it. Thanks.

Dear Richard,
It seems that this error occurs only with specific audio settings.
The selected output was HDMI audio through my BenQ monitor. The recording played fine within the Aerodrums software, but the WAV output was corrupted.
When I changed the output to the standard Windows HD output, the WAV recording was OK. :-)

I will send you a download link to a corrupted WAV file soon...

Hmmm.... I tried again with the same settings, and now it works.
I don't know what was the problem earlier... but it seems it was a one-time error only. :-)

Ok, good to know that. If it happens again let us know.
