Aerodrums and Aered forums

The following steps get Aerodrums working with Jamstix 3 at a very basic level. Once the two are talking, tweak things to your preference.

1. Download and install loopBe1 MIDI port virtualization: http://www.nerds.de/en/download.html
2. Start your DAW and configure/enable loopBe1 as a MIDI input device
3. Insert a Jamstix VSTi track
4. Select a drum kit

• a. Click the snare drum to activate it
  b. Locate the Articulations box, it says ALL by default
  c. Click ALL and change it to CENTER, the key will change to D3

5. Click on the Normal Jam button to toggle it to Drum Module mode (button up)

• a. all three buttons are in the up position
  b. the song structure area now shows the Drum Module choices/configuration

6. Start Aerodrums
7. From the Home screen, click the MIDI button

• a. Choose MIDI only
  b. Point Aerodrums to the loopBe1 MIDI device
  c. Click OK to return to the Home screen

8. Click the Aerodrums DRUM button and start drumming in Jamstix!
