Camera not working?

Post by cjabraham » Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:40 am

I am unable to go through the set up. The camera is not picking up the sticks or foot reflectors. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the help,
Carl

Hi Carl, it sounds like your issue is not related to camera drivers and you are able to get to the drumming screen by pressing the 'Drum' button. It occasionally happens that the lens inside the lamp gets dislodged. When this happens you will see something that looks like a ring of red blobs on the drumming screen. Is this the case for you? If not or if you're not sure, could you attach a screenshot of your drumming screen so I can see how it looks. Thanks

Thank you for your reply, Red and blue lights on the camera, no leds lit. Sticks and feet do not track in set up. There are occasional drum sounds.
Thank you so much.

The lamp (LED ring) should be lit. It has a small black switch on it. Could you check that it's not turned off?

In case that wasn't the problem, it's possible that the USB port you have the lamp plugged into isn't supplying power to the lamp. In that case could you try other USB ports or plug the lamp into a mains-powered USB phone charger (the lamp only needs power so it doesn't necessarily need to be plugged into your computer).
