Feedback: Improvements?

Hi,
First, well done for your work, aerodrums is far from being just a gimmick
But as much as I like the product,
I returned mine because of two major drawbacks caused by the detection system being used:
-Lighting is too restrictive: a lot of objects are seen too bright.
-LED lights around the camera are too bright, and even with the computer aside, it's not optimal.
An alternative would be IR but it appears that it involves health considerations so it's not optimal as well.
So, can we expect improvements (like color/shape/pattern tracking) from the aerodrums team or is the current system considered to be the final/the best one ?
