Hello, i will post my evolution with Unity 3D to create a 3D Drums for Aerodrums. Im not a advanced Unity 3D developer, so if you want to help i appreciate !

Objective and todo list:

1 - Create a 3D Application with a 3D Virtual Drum Kit that react with MIDI Notes sent by Aerodrums application using 'default MIDI MAP';
2 - Create a Green Screen 3D enviroment to use with OpenBroadcaster to MIX a realtime video feed with the 3D virtual Drums.

MIDI NOTES and Drum Pieces:

Here you can download the first build to test with Aerodrums running MIDI Out.

Windows Users Only!

How to use:
You need to download 'LoopMIDI' and disable the MIDI Feedback feature on configuration. https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html

The Cubes will react with the MIDI NOTES.

First Chroma Test

Image

To use the software with OpenBroadcaster (OBS) you will need to learn how its works.

You should create a Scene with the Unity 3D application and apply the Chromakey Filter, after you can add your camera and manage the order of screen ( top or down).

I found a free alternative from the great site called BlendSwap, author is 'bryanajones', the license of this model is Creative Commons, and this is awesome too.

You can download here: https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/75467

Next Step: Now i need to install blender and convert the 3D object to .FBX Format.

Before set PBR materials, i need to reorganize 3D objects to confirm each is unique, because each piece ( snare, kick, crash...) needs to works individual (reacting by MIDI notes)... I will think how to do that ( shake?)
