Hi Richard and Yann,
The title says it all really. Is there a beta of the software for the Rift we can download and try out? Is it close?... Getting itchy here. ;)

I'm sorry for the unforeseen delay. In the last few weeks we have discovered a big improvement that will allow us to track the sticks a lot more accurately in 3D. Unfortunately, incorporating this improvement has effects on other parts of Aerodrums so it's turning out to be quite a lot of work. We still hope to release a beta very soon but don't have an exact date yet.

I am going to buy this as soon as you add VR support for Rift. Every time I check it's been pushed back though. Is there any update?

+1

Never sat behind a drum, so being an Oculus owner I don't want to buy this to just "air-drum", when I could just see the whole thing in front of me :)

Also waiting for the update!

They should be compatible also with Playstation VR, more people have PSVR than Occlus Rift!
They should also consider something like Microsoft Hololence, augmented reality. There are many glasses like Hololens in the market. And I think it is better because they augment what you see, they do not show you some other reality, hiding the real world around you, they augment what you see. Imagine seeing a drum kit in front of you and see your room and your band members all together. I think this is the best way to portray Aerodrums.
