Since playing Aerodrums I have found different ways to create/simulate a bounce. This is the first one I found a few years ago. It's what I would call a reverse rebound. In reality, it is the palm of the hand that hits the end of the stick and rotates it upward around the fulcrum point. I particularly use this technique for double strokes by quickly closing my hand after the strike and returning my arm/wrist to the starting point. This is how I did the double strokes in my Drumeo pad practice video.
