+1 for Linux support. Was hoping to run it though Windows 10 on Virtualbox, unfortunately there are issues with the graphics card, something about requiring openGL 2.0. I thought enabling 2D graphic acceleration and installing guest additions would do the trick but didn't work. Also doesn't work using Wine. Currently installing Windows 10 to dual boot hopefully then things will run fine.

+1 for Linux support!

Would it be economically possible to release the current source code?

Hello, Linux users.

In order to overcome OpenGL 2.0 error message you can copy into Aerodrums directory opengl32.dll from my post here:

I can help you to run AD in Wine, but please advise which errors Wine has reported to you? I strongly suspect that you will need to recompile libusb-win32 dll on your local machine in order AD to work under wine.

"The camera driver is not configured yet."

So I am looking to install libusb-win32. Do I install it inside Wine? (Ubuntu 16.10)

Edit/Update:

I have made some progress by downloading https://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb ... p_redirect and moving bin/x86/libusb0_x86.dll to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/libusb0.dll . The Aerodrums program does not complain about the camera in the same way, the sound test works, and when I get to the main menu there is the new message

"Camera not found. Please exit Aerodrums..."

Edit:

I have also tried other architectures but it seems like x86 is the right one. I have copied bin/x86/libusb0.sys to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/drivers/libusb0.sys .

testlibusb-win.exe shows:

DLL version: 1.2.6.0
Driver version: -1.-1.-1.-1

bus/device idVendor/idProduct

testlibusb.exe shows:

Dev #0: 0000 - 0000

(both independently of whether the camera is plugged in.)

It is ironic because the installer doesn't complain.

Edit/Update:

Wine does not support hardware access and this includes USB.

Hello,

If you want to use Aerodrums in Linux, you can install Linux KVM with "3D Graphics PCI-E passtrought", will work with native performance, but you will need to install Windows into a VM. Two monitors is good, but not required.
