Aerodrums and Aered forums

Hello,

Is there any way to use youtube while using aerodrums?
Once I start Aerodrums, all other audio mutes. Don't know why...

I assume you're using Windows and have selected the 'Exclusive WASAPI' audio device on the Latency screen in Aerodrums.
This is the setting we recommend you use because it gives the lowest latency. The downside is that it gives Aerodrums exclusive access to the soundcard and this prevents other programs (such as your internet browser) from being able to output audio at the same time that Aerodrums is running.

To get around this you can switch from Exclusive WASAPI to Shared WASAPI on the Latency screen. This will let you play youtube videos, etc. while drumming but the latency will be worse.

If your intention is to have music to drum along to then the ideal solution is to add mp3 files to the playlist inside Aerodrums and keep the device set to Exclusive WASAPI so that latency is not compromised.
