3D printed camera holder

Post by muck » Thu Apr 18, 2024 10:35 am

Hi!

Since I have a lot of stands here and a 3D printer, I made myself a solution for putting the camera on a stand.
What is the height of the lens when using the official camera stand?

I'd love to have it exactly the same height so that setup is as close to the recommendation as possible.

Looking forward to informations.

For anyone who's interested: here is the file for you to print it yourself:

I measured 741 mm from the bottom of the lamp (white part) to the floor.

I had asked the support and got this:

The tripod height is about 32cm and the angle is 2 degrees down from horizontal.

32cm seems very low to me. It would just film the floor basically, especially if pointed down as well…

The base of the camera is held at 74cm above the ground

I thought so to and stayed with the table. But that was the reply from support (#1369).
