Hi! Just downloaded and liking it so far. If I can get some things straightened out, I will make a payment. A couple questions early on. 1. How do I save a file and get it to open again next session? 2. Can I enlarge the size so its bigger in print? 3. How do I put accents over notes?

Hi, welcome to the forums. Here are some answers...

1. There are Open (ctrl+o), Save (ctrl+s) and Save As buttons on the left of the window. If you try to quit Aered with unsaved changes you will be prompted to save them. In case I'm misinterpreting your question and you want Aered to automatically load the last saved file, there is no way to do this currently. Aered will accept a .aer file as a command-line parameter so you could create a shortcut that will automatically open a particular file in Aered every time you run the shortcut.

2. If you want to enlarge text in your sheet music you can right click+drag over the text label to resize it. If you want to enlarge the music notation itself you can use the 'Change staff width' slider which is the leftmost slider on the splitter bar that separates the editor pane from the layout pane.

3. To accent a note, place your mouse cursor over the note head and press 'a'. By pressing 'g' instead you can "ghost" the note and pressing 'n' will set it back to normal. You can also right click repeatedly over a note head to cycle between accent, normal and ghost.

Let me know if you have any further question, thanks.
