Re: Mounting stand for PS3 camera
It's quite important that the camera is at the correct height, especially if you're using the preset drum kits. I have seen some people use that PS3 mounting clip in videos as well and they have the camera mounted above their monitor which we don't recommend. I've also heard of people attaching the ...

Re: Custom Pedal with Existing Elements
Hi, unfortunately it's not possible to edit the elements that ship with Aerodrums in any way. For a pedal triggered tambourine I'm not sure how much velocity sensitivity would matter. Perhaps you can get away with finding a single tambourine sample online and creating a new element from that.

Re: Feedback: thoughts on improvements
1) This omission of ride edge and tom edge samples was an oversight and something we want to correct soon. We have done some experiments with a "crash-able" ride using some quick samples we recorded and it feels really nice so it's in our plans to record proper samples and release this at some point...

Re: Addictive Drums 2 routing problem.
I'm not sure off hand what could cause this, possibly some incompatibility between the version of AD that we used to create the MIDI map and the version of AD2 you're using. Once you load our .ADMap file in AD2 could you try save that as a new AD2 preset and send me the new .AD2Map file (richard.lee...

@eagleeyez We plan to have it ready for May or June with Oculus Rift and Gear VR support. The filtering improvements I mentioned above will probably come around the same time.

Re: Feedback: thoughts on improvements
Thanks for the feedback. Apologies in advance if I've misinterpreted what you're describing but I'll comment on your points in turn: 1) Hits are only triggered on downstrokes, not upstrokes. It might be the case that what you're experiencing here is excessive bouncing of the stick after the primary ...

Re: Saved kit disappears
Are you sure you hit the "Save changes" button after making modifications to your kit from the "Adjust drums" menu? This button will be highlighted in yellow if your kit has unsaved changes.

Re: Aerodrums routing to standalone VST:s
Yes, if you set things up correctly you can send MIDI from Aerodrums to the standalone applications for AD, SD, BFD, etc. without having a DAW as a go-between. There is a tutorial video explaining the set up here along with MIDI maps for the various VSTis: http://aerodrums.com/using-aerodrums-with-d...

Re: Playing to Backing Tracks
If you're on Windows and using the Exclusive WASAPI audio device (set from the Latency screen in Aerodrums) then you won't be able to play your backing tracks from another application. This is because Aerodrums takes exclusive control of the sound card in this case in order to get the lowest latency...
