Re: AD don,t runs

Hi, my colleague replied to the email you sent to Aerodrums support. Let us know if you haven't been able to resolve this.

Re: pro tools camera problem

I don't have a concrete solution right now but I would suggest plugging in the camera and seeing if it appears as an audio input device in Audio MIDI Setup utility or in System Preferences -> Sound. You might be able to disable the device or re-order the devices from there and hopefully your Mac wil...

Re: pro tools camera problem

Are you on Windows or Mac? If Windows, you can try the following... Because the Playstation Eye camera has a microphone, Windows detects it as an audio device when you plug it in. You can disable this device without affecting the camera. To do this, plug in the camera and then go to Windows Device M...

Re: Addictive Drums 2 cymbal problem

This depends on how your kit is set up in AD2 because it's not possible for use to provide a single map file that will work in all cases. Let me explain. I'll assume you're using the AD2 map we provide on this page: http://aerodrums.com/using-aerodrums-with-daws-drum-samplers/ The MIDI section of th...

Re: Aero drums with addictive drums 2 issues

The reason for this is that when using our own samples, the quietest ghost notes are barely audible whereas with other software such as Addictive Drums 2, the quietest ghost notes produce quite a loud sound. There are a couple of ways to work around this. Firstly, on the Aerodrums Latency screen the...

Re: Will tuning ever be supported in updates??

Thanks Ringowig, I was about to suggest the same thing. We are currently working on the update that will add a 3D view of the drum kit to Aerodrums. This will come in a couple of months. We haven't looked at the addition of a tuning feature yet but it won't come until in the year if we add it. If ot...

Re: high hat volume

You can change the volume of any drum piece by entering the drumming menu (from the drumming screen, hover a drum stick over the button labelled 'Menu', then hit it with the stick), then hitting the 'Adjust drums' button, followed by the 'Volumes & Sensitivities' button. From here you can select a p...

Re: Playing to Backing Tracks

Run Aerodrums, then click the Playlist button. Here you can add MP3 files to your playlist.

Once you've done that you can play songs from the drumming screen by entering the drumming menu and hitting the Songs button.

Re: Nvidia Card GTX960 does not manage framerate

I would try graphics mode 4 where nothing is displayed. You won't be able to see the frame rate indicator but you should be able to tell by drumming if it's behaving well or if the frame rate is still dropping. If there's still a problem then it's almost certainly not a graphics issue as we're not d...

Re: Any Updates Coming?

Hi Doug, I apologise for the lack of updates and our claims that an update was imminent. We did some substantial work on Aered last year, in particular on making a new notation engine that would support arbitrary time signatures and subdivisions. It really wasn't our plan to halt this. We worked har...
